Product Description:
Anasept, an FDA-cleared product that contains broad-spectrum antimicrobial sodium hypochlorite that inhibits the growth of antibiotic-resistant “superbug” strains such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus; vancomycin-resistant Enterococci; carbapenem-resistant Escherichia coli; and fungicidal, sporicidal, and virucidal properties.

Product’s Role in Wound Care:
Anasept’s administration system has been designed with an easy-to-use spikeable container and fitted with an integrated hanger that can quickly adapt to most negative pressure wound therapy systems (NPWT) that are available with instillation capability, which has become commonplace in most wound care clinics practicing advanced techniques.

How is the Product Unique?
Anasept is unique in that there are no known microorganisms that are resistant to the antimicrobial in Anasept as well as its exceptional safety profile.

Are Variations/Models of the Product Available/Planned?
Anacapa Technologies Inc. plans to expand Anasept’s size to accommodate new models of NPWT devices as well as demands from clinicians for special sizes.

Does the Product Come With Any Add-on Services?
Anasept is designed for single-use application.

Does the Product Come With Training or Educational Materials?
Anasept is available with a descriptive brochure and directions for use are available on the product label. Its administration system is readily adaptable to most NPWT units by following the NPWT manufacture guidelines.
